Ass 3 - Pre Production Notes

1.What is your intention in terms of how you plan to use the available light?
The interior of the restaurant where we will be shooting is quite dark with tungsten lighting overhead & no daylight therefore I will be using two flashes and a white reflector and a bit of available light.

2. What is the reason for your lens choice?
I will be using 24-70 mm lens and also will try to borrow from the equipment room the tilt-shift lens if possible.

 3. What aperture do you plan to use and why?
F 4.0 or F 5.6 in order to get enough DOF .

4. What shutter speed to you plan to use and why?
Probably I will do a long exposure.  I will be using flash therefore I will ness to get some readings in order to see.

5. Do you have enough available light to achieve these camera settings?
Don’t know, hard to tell.

6. Do you have enough strobe to achieve these settings?
Yes, two Pro Photo kits & a reflector should work out fine.

7. Do you have too much light to achieve these settings?
No, I am aiming to have a simple shot.

8. Are there any technical problems that will need to be addressed at the shoot or in post-production?
Color casts, not enough of available light.

10. What is the equipment you will need for the shoot?
Tripod, 1 vagabond power pack,  2 pro photo lights, 1 small reflector disk, 1 will shoot through white umbrella, 1 light meter, 2 black stands,
