I plan to shoot in front of the main entrance (from Maissonneuve street) of Dawson College. I’m going to be photographing preferably a couple of Dawson students attending school. My aim is to create a nice, even light that will place my subject center stage.
1.What is your intention in terms of how you plan to use the available light?
I plan to use two artificial lights + available light.
2. What is the reason for your lens choice?
24-70mm. It’s a full length and the only one I own. But I find that It can give me the result I’m expecting.
3. What aperture do you plan to use and why?
f/2,8
To have the background a bit out of focus.
4. What shutter speed to you plan to use and why?
1/50
5. Do you have enough available light to achieve these camera settings?
Yes, I think so.
6. Do you have enough strobe to achieve these settings?
Yes.
7. Do you have too much light to achieve these settings?
Saturday should be a very cloudy day therefore it shouldn’t be a problem.
8. Are there any technical problems that will need to be addressed at the shoot or in post-production?
Rain, rain and Rain. Dirt in front of the Dawson College Entrance.
9. How will you be addressing color balance?
Grey card.
